This grant will support my postdoctoral studies in ANCA-associated Vasculitis. The outgoing phase of this fellowship May 2024 – May 2026 will be in the Robinson Lab at Stanford, USA. The one year return phase will be in the Nephrology department of LUMC Leiden, the Netherlands under supervision of Prof. Onno Teng & prof. Cees van Kooten. I am super excited to start working on this fellowship and hopefully advance the scientific field of ANCA-associated vasculitis the next years. Read more about Breaking ANCA here

About me

Welcome! I am a biomedical researcher and medical doctor in internal medicine and strive to close the gap between the clinic and fundamental sciences with translational research. My focus is to study the mechanisms of autoimmune diseases and to translate research insights into therapeutics targeting autoimmunity.

In 2024 I was selected to receive the Marie Curie Fellowship for Breaking ANCA – a three-year global postdoctoral fellowship to study ANCA-associated vasculitis, two years at the Robinson lab in Stanford, and one year at LuVaCs Center, LUMC Leiden, NL.
